Recently I’ve been exploring this messenger service.
Big wins out of the gate:
it is very easy to make sealed topics, and channels and add members to those channels.
You can also remove items per device.
The user interface feels good, it surfaces just enough and allows the user to make the choices they want.
You can federate nodes.
The web interface, mobile app both feel like they were thought of in the design and don’t offer superfluous design that permeates most modern web applications.
Easy to add MFA, any one I want not just duo.
No phone number, no email and
EASY to make a sealed topic.
Easy to add / remove members.
Suports WEBRTC for calling, requires a TURN, you do not have to use Cloud Flare.
